Right on the heels of the very successful Isulong SEOPH keyword ranking contest, I’m pleased to announce the launch of the second Philippine keyword ranking contest. This is a pet project of SEO Philippines, a local organization dedicated to the growth of the search marketing industry in the Philippines.

Beverlyn was asking me to give her a task and I told her to go research about “webmaster, seo and link building.” So she did and she sent me this article as proof of her research. Her sources will be given at the end of the article.

When you go to the net, it is always about the links. Site owners generate income from the links. Links are what drives viewers to their site. Although the main concern of every site owner is for viewers to visit their sites some find it detrimental and even file cases against linkers.

One of the kind of link in question is the deep linking. Deep linking is putting a hyperlink on a websites that enables a viewer who clicks on it to go directly to a page of their interest. Many suits are filed against deep linking however, the U.S. courts, it has been found repeatedly that if you put something online in a free and open manner, there is absolutely nothing wrong with anyone linking to it.

Although deep linking bypasses the site’s home page, it is still one way of bringing traffic to one’s site and isn’t this the aim of every website? To bring traffic and make viewers not leave their site?

I just don’t know why, but it seems that people pays much attention to GOOGLE than any other search engines.

When Google bought YouTube, everyone was blabbing about it. Why oh Why?

But since Google is soo important, i found this Article for you to read.

I saw THIS in one of the newsletter I got today.

The author was talking about this site. He said he accidentally typed googlevideo.com instead of video.google.com and was SHOCKED to see that the site is PR 5. Go check out the site yourself, and you would be shock why google would make it a PR 5 site. To think, that site have a high PR than my site but I guess I have more informations to offer.
